10-15kn SSW/S all night. The swell is more from the ESE and smaller than yesterday arv. There's still some ENE swell coming in. Dbah is a playground with joy waves, clean bowling peaks and a heavy crew factor. The best and cleanest waves by far. Snapper is pus. The tide way too high. Same for Burleigh. Currumbin looked to be turning it on with nice long walls. It's less than a meter and full on the points but that should change heading to low tide after 7:20am. The Palmy beachie quality is far less than expected. It's too slow to hang out the back and the shorey not as crisp as the day just gone. The bureau reckons 2.5m SE swell to hit today. The swell fetch looks to be heading more north on the charts with the coast getting the tail end of 1.5-2m SE. It should pick up again today, need to keep an eye on it to see what happens. S/SE 15-20kn winds for the rest of today.

BROADYS BEACHIE REPORT 4/2
|

Surfers had a bit of a shorey early (like Palmy snap 7), but the wind
was up and getting into it, and cool water temp didn't make it too
tempting. If you're not heading south to get out of the wind, you may
find something rideable at Sth Strad - it's ok on an ESE swell, and the
wind may be just south enough to make it cross-shore. Yesterday arvo had
some fun backbreak (relative to recent surf) until the tide filled it in
- but damn it was cold! Broady
