Temp on dat day was 32, humidity 80%, Broke like that more than 35 days last year, often broke better and bigger. Another view for ya:

how come there isent millions of jap fellas out there surfing? alot of japenese people surf here. how come they dont get really involved over there?

yeah some are alright are. its funny how the guys surf and the chicks boog. did anyone get down the see the womens comp down at surfers the other day? its good to see more of them getting out in the water, but ive forgoten the actual number but out of the whole 90 entries, 68 or something of them were japenese. not bad huh......

If you think they are good, then you are obviously crrrraaappp! And as ta the comps, japs dont understand any other kinda surfin and barely even comps dats why dey cant even make it on the wqs-lame.

not all of them are full kooks man. there is a japenese guy who surfs over at strad most days of the week when im there and he shreads over most of the blow ins that come over. but yeah 98% of them are bigest kooks kooks.

Pictures look pretty good. Is that in Chiba, near Kajukari? I used to live in Chiba and made the 2-3 hour journey to the surf often. Some good surf but the bloody tolls are expensive.

How good are those shots? The third one looks so much fun! That must be you in the first. its a bit hard to make out with the glare but it looks like a gaijin.

I will be based in Chiba or east Tokyo in early August. I still haven't decided. I have to be near tokyo for business, but live somewhere that is easy to get to the surf. near one of the high ways. Its going to be bloody tricky but I need to do business and I absolutely have to surf! At the moment I have 6 weeks of Uni to go and then its off to Japan to pursue my exporting business. I am exporting a range of dog products at the moment, www.bigdoglead.com and looking to expand. Its risky but I cant end up in some cubicle pushing financial products for a conglomerate that I dont beleive in, know what I mean?

PS Anymore shots occy????

This was the picture that one second place in last round i think. I scanned it again to show the surfer. This was one of the set waves and this guy straighten out. Missed out big time

That last shot isn't dean he rides soley for Oakley.

I think it is Sean cansdell though I am not 100% certain as I have been out of the surf scene for 12 months travelling.
