Well at the moment in nz i ahve the nationals at my local break!Im wondering,over in aussie are you guys aloud in the water when heats are on,or like us is it banned!
Juts yesterday i paddled out 5mins later the commentator was on the microphone telling everyone to paddle in to the shorey as they needed the break!AS they were only using one peak i didnt understand it as there's breaks everwhere.They were going to send out some heavies to get everyone out>wats up with that?Do you guys have the sam thing over there?

Yeah for sure. Its been going on for years. It doesnt matter what comp it is there are often heavys in the water scaring the groms, and others, off.

and was it last year with the quickie pro at snapper they had the cops on jet ski's getting people out. i think u could actully get arrested for surfing most of the point. but otherwise yeah they usually sed out some heavies trying to get all the groms out. lata,
