What is the average time you get up for a session in the water. Weekdays weekends?
Depending on what the surf is like, Ill go after I put the report up. Then watch the wind all day for the lucky LAGOS or shore break jam.
The report has been going up on average 7-8am but since stopping the SMS service Ive been trying to get it up as early as possible.
Theres not always two people doing the report so sometimes there are only pictures. If one persons tries doing pics, footage and report, it seems to take too long for the report to go up. So if that is the case we just stick to the pictures. But thats not to say that we won't go back later and get some footage.

I'm usually in the water by 6am weekdays and weekends. There's a nasty thing called a job that I have to go to afterwards.

yeah, work can suck when the waves are pumping.
im wondering if there are many people that drive from brisvages for the weekday early before the 8:30-9am start back at brissy?

Yep. I usually do it twice on weekdays. In the car by 5am surfing by 5:50, out at 8am, sititng at my desk by 9:00
Fortunatley I'm on coast all weekend so I usually have about 4 sessions per week.
I used to do the drive on weekdays but my latest job isn't so flexible so it doesn't happen so much anymore. If I worked further out on the south side it would be ok. What area do you work in slicktrigger?
Weekends are pretty much it for the time being.

I'm in the city. The trip from city to Tower 42 or Nazz is no probs during the week. I head further south on weekends though.
6am is the norm for the early. However I generally like to have a look at the surf around 4pm to check whether I'm goin for an arvo wave.

around 6 - 6:15 is a good time to have a report posted and around 4-4:30 is a good time for an arvo report.

I live at college (uni) in bris so i wake up 5, driving by 5 past and normally surfing at 5:45-50 at sea world or so with some friends that work, after bout 7:30 we get out, they go to work and i go have brekkie then head to burleigh for a couple more hrs b4 going back to uni in the arvo.
on most weekends i probs go surfing 8 cause of night b4.

I live in Brisbane and aim to be on the coast on or before sunrise. Leave about 1 hour (depending on destination) before sunrise.

a few mates do crescent around christmas time and leave the night before to get there at dawn.
but it depends where im surfing to what time i get to the beach. straddie ill usually try to sleep in as long as i can depending on the forecasted wind for the morning. it gets better around 8-9am when the morning crew leave. whereas for needles i usually sleep down there and get up just before sunrise.
lately ive been doing time lapse filming and got some awesome sunrise footage overlooking the reef

Normally try and get there for first light to get a few in before the crowds. If im surfing on the weekend at strad etc I will go around midday or for the arv if winds are still alright because the early is a joke no matter how early you get on it.

well I live dead in brizzo on the river and start work at 9 in the valley. I just jump in the seaway just around sunrise when it aint dark but the sun hasnt risen. So about 5:15am at the moment. I usually get out and get into my work clothes at around 7:15/7:30 then drive back (hopefully with a friend so I can hit the T2)

man looks like theres a few brissos here. if some people are here going down on their own/2 peple, should start carpooling. esp with petrol price @ $1.20-30 - probably a good idea to share the costs.
im only 5min detour from pac motorway near springwood. im up for an early most days of the week. give us a pm if anyones keen - tell us ya surf timetable :)
