Looks like a bloody goat boat!!!

Someone explain to me why people insist on clambering up the rocks when another 30mtrs and you can just paddle round? I know it is shorter to climb up but I have done both and preferred just paddling round and not risking damaging me and my board climbing the rocks (an 8ft board is not easy to climb rocks with!). Just curious!??

Very nice waves there mermaidb - where from? I am guessing not here (Oz)!!?? ;)

masta - 50mtrs and 100mtrs are kind of a long way apart - I guesstimated it at basically the distance you would paddle to get into the lineup anyway which you have to do once you are over the rocks anyway (unless of course you are heading up the beach then it would be smarter to climb the rocks, walk then paddle out rather than paddle round and then either ina nd back out or right up the beach)

Thanks for looking and your comments - Unfortunetly there not at Mermaid Beach .... although I've seen it pretty good over the years. There the product of alot of saving and a recent trip to Indo. Two of the photo's are of spots I was told only 2 other people had ever surfed. Very happy Days they were. GB :D
