try and think of your future too dude,,,, working a dead end job surfing every day does sound pretty sweet but one day your gonna wanna have a kid n stuff and want more money...
you gotta sorta think ahead a little too,,, try to get a job that gets you some experience in something at least.
and no matter what you do, everone has 20-20 hindsight and the grass is always greener on the other side bro!

Move in with bogan at lmnop's nans house :D then stomp on inverteds beaten body after boogers done, then tell gary b's wife not to spend her husbands money on me  jokes
Plans for me are:
Get rid of the last chick that lives at my house so its guys only - then hire a stripper once in a while for shits n giggles while we are getting maggot. Should be done by september when she goes overseas
Sort out my ute and sell it, then buy a cheaper car to get out of debt
Save up coin for the snow next year, or maybe get a loan, see what happens.
After that we want to go for a road trip through north america. gonna buy a van and drive - should be fun as. Go to south america if we have the money and are organised enough.
Its good having mates that are into the same shit as me.

Get first division honours, do a PHD. Get promoted out of my advertising position and into management.
Go back to the north shore for my 3rd winter, yewww. Stay all season. Get married, move out. Setup seperate bank accounts so i dont end up like gary. Teach my kids early to boog so they dont end up like x factor. haha.

I'll give you some advice for free, firstly how old are you??
rather than get a dead end job flippin burgers or burning fries, Try and get a trade. Not much money now but when your done you will pull $30 an hour+. I left school when I was 16 got a job with the commonwealth bank set me up for life really spent 10 uyears with them. A part time night job sounds great but time moves on before you know it your still struggling to buy tyres for your pushy and you'll be 30 with no prospects. Sure get a part time job to tide you over but look 2-3 years down the track not to your next surfing adventure.

if u get out there and do something, opportunities will come to you.
my plan changes daily but surfing always plays a major role in what i want to do with my life.

yeah having a trade is always good to fall back on. In reality, all you need is money for business/investment ventures to pursue to set you up for the future. Then plan the surfing trips

well my life is about to go through major changes. im doin an apprentiship, which i have been bitching about for the last year, so im about to put that on hold in the next few weeks. ive got a sweet good paying night job lined up, so i will do that till the end of the year, while saving like crazy. good chance of goin to mexico at the end of the year. then im coming back and moving down the coast to my best mates place and im goin to uni. basically see how that goes, ive learnt lately that u gotta give shit ago. money shouldnt be your number one concern, but u stil gotta have some kind of plans. i just dont wanna be one those kunts who hates their work, but keeps doin cause they dont wanna part with the cash, then they have kids and cant leave their job, and they just end up moaning everyday about it. u gotta give shit a crack while your young, thats when its easiest. i also wanna do a photography course in this half of the year after i quit work.

Best advice I can give to you young fucks is to not blow all your coin on a car. I got a sweet as purple wb ute with gts dash, prem front, extractors, mags, bucket seats. fcuking sick ute for $2000 but I spent another $5000 on it in 2 years and ended up selling it for $1000 when the motor blew because I could no longer aford to fix it up.
In that time I could of gone overseas, done a few road trips down south and had money to party with pimped out threads. But no I was going bogan style and never had any money to enjoy life. Cars are just a form of transportation, a beast is good but look at all the shit you miss out on
To me, I just want to experience everything I can while im still (relatively) young and do as much crazy fun shit as possible. Before you know it youll be an old fart and youll look back and realise how much time you wasted fcuking about

I have a trade in boat building that has given me heaps of opportunities in my 18 yrs of working life.
Left high school after doing HSC in Ballina and got into a uni course in Oceanography. Defered that and worked with my old man for 6 months building a boat, had a month off surfing in indo, came back and decided I was going to do a trade instead of Uni. Since then I won a few awards, got offered a qld scholarship to work OS as a boat builder to gain experience to bring back to Qld, left boat building and started my own business in timber furniture, Worked in resturants for 7 yrs, Travelled to lots of different places surfing and sailing, got back into Boats and still doing today.
Best thing to remember is that the career you start in will not always be the one you retire from. Most people today have 3 different career's in their working life...
Live ya life with ya own set of goals and dreams, not ya parents, ya mates, or what the tele tells ya to!!

Can do boge's. I've had years where i earnt less than $35k and other's where i earnt in excess of $75k. Get a good gig and ya laughing. It can be hot, dusty, smelly, and noisy at times but there is a heap of job satisfaction too. All depends on what ya dealt

Hey Exbuno you are sooo right. When you are young is not the time to get into debt and spend loads of cash on a car. You have to get off that ego trip, buy an old crapper and just live life to the max. Plenty of time for nice cars later. Time is one thing we all have so we should make the most of it. I have always quit my job if I woke up in the morning and didnt like to go to work. Work should be a place you enjoy going to. Right at the moment I am going thru a few interviews for a different job simply because I am tired of the same old faces where I currently work.
