I went to snapper rocks for the first time in like 2 months, and wow! theres actually rocks everywhere now unlike before. How did that happen? washed away the sand??

is the amount of rocks as same as it used to be before??

for about a year or so, theres been that puny little bit of rocks at the jump-off spot.. but now they're everywhere... on the sides of the superbank all the way down to greenmount.

most superbank surfers would've noticed the difference...

yeah i got what your saying now. those rocks at the jump off spot there weer always reaonably big but some of that sand moved furhter north after that big swell we had.

heard they stopped the sand pumping to make the tourist unit managers happy - now of course they all get cut feet ;-))

nah mate they still pump the sand, they need to to get it out of the mouth of the tweed there, thats why they started the project initially. As yeeeew said, the recent big swell and about a month of consistant 1m plus waves have just spread the white stuff north. Everywhere is a bit erroded at the moment from noosa to fingal.

its not just to fingal man, all way over to the otherside is erored so bad. u know when u just come over the wall and there are usually a few roots at the start of the sand. well not it looks like there is a whole tree lying there cause there is so many root hangen out. guess we'll get some of that sand back soon enough anyways.
